12. Each employee is allowed two (2) single day excused absence each twelve-month period for illness or injury without providing proof of illness or injury to their supervisor. If an absence for illness or injury lasts for two (2) or more days, proof of illness or injury must be provided. Fail- ure to provide such proof will result in absence being considered unexcused. 13. Each additional single day absence for illness or injury during that same twelve-month period will be considered unexcused unless proof of illness or injury is provided.
