MOBILE DEVICE SECURITY AND SAFETY Mobile Device Security & Safety

Applications/Downloads and Use The Company permits personal use of Company-issued mobile devices, however, such use should not hinder a User ’s ability to perform his/her job or to meet his/her work commitments. In any event, the Company reserves the right to view, monitor, access, and retain all electronic communications and activity undertaken on Company-issued mobile devices. Users should have no expectation of privacy whatsoever in any message including email, text messages, instant messages, files, data, documents, telephone conversations, voice mails, social media posts or any other kind of electronic communication received or transmitted on a Company-issued technology device. Passwords The Company requires that all Company-issued mobile devices have a screen-lock passcode/PIN enabled. Users will be required to know their screen-lock passcode/PIN, and to not distribute it to anyone. If a User forgets their screen-lock passcode/PIN they will need to contact the Flowers IT Helpdesk to have it reset. Transfer of Mobile Numbers and Devices It is the Company’s policy that the wireless numbers assigned to all Company-issued mobile devices are owned by the Company. Accordingly, upon separation and/or termination from the company, a User must return the mobile device and its assigned phone number to the Company. New employees may not transfer their personal wireless number or personal mobile device to the Company-issued mobile device/mobile device program. Exceptions to this policy are listed below along with instructions for retaining a mobile device number and/or mobile device : • Employees separating from the Company who brought their personal wireless number to the Company mobile device program ( prior to the establishment of this policy ) will have the opportunity to retain their personal wireless number (but not personal mobile device) with them upon separation. Any contract obligation still on the number will be assumed by the employee. • Employees who are retiring have the option to retain their wireless number and their Company - owned mobile device upon retirement. Any contract obligation still on the number will be assumed by the employee. The employee’s direct supervisor must grant approval in these cases. 1. The employee requests approval (in writing/email) from their supervisor, asking to retain their mobile device and/or number 2. The supervisor grants approval (in writing/email), and forwards it to the Flowers Foods Verizon Administrator (Amy Boskind). 3. The Flowers Foods Verizon Administrator will contact Flowers Foods Legal to confirm whether the device is on legal hold. If the device is on legal hold, the Flowers Foods Verizon Administrator will instruct the user to contact Flowers Foods Legal for disposition of their mobile device.
