The employee contacts their chosen mobile carrier (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc.) to set up a personal account, or add the device and number to an existing personal account. (NOTE: The Flowers Foods Verizon Administrator CANNOT do this for you) . 5. The mobile carrier will contact the Flowers Foods Verizon Administrator to confirm the activity is authorized. 6. 3 business days prior to their retirement date, the employee emails the Flowers Foods Verizon Administrator requesting to remove service and Mobile Guard on a determined date. 7. The Flowers Foods Verizon Administrator will initiate a ticket to have the MDM team “Device Wipe” the mobile device on the requested date – this will place the device back to factory settings. The MDM team will also “disown” the device in the Flowers DEP configuration (if an Apple device). (NOTE: The user should conduct a recent backup of their contacts, settings, etc. to their Verizon cloud, iCloud, Google Cloud, etc., prior to the designated “wipe date”) . • Retiring employees who know they are currently on legal hold must first send an email to Flowers_Legal_Department@flocorp.com for instructions on processing their mobile device. • Employees who choose to retain their company mobile device will assume ANY remaining contract length and time until eligible for the next upgrade. • Employees who are only retainin g their mobile number, but turn in a “locked” or passcode protected mobile device will NOT have their mobile number released to them until they unlock their mobile device. Lost or Stolen Devices If the User determines their Company-issued mobile device is lost or stolen, the User is responsible for contacting the Flowers IT Helpdesk immediately. Additionally, the User should contact the Flowers Legal Department to determine whether their device is on legal -hold. If the mobile device is on legal -hold, the User will not remotely wipe their mobile device. A replacement mobile device will be provided upon appropriate approval. However, Users may be held responsible for covering the cost of a replacement device if a Company-issued mobile device assigned to a User is lost, stolen or damaged more than once within a rolling two‐year period. Driving Safety Section 14(l) of the Company Employee Handbook states: “ Company policy prohibits the use of handheld personal communications devices to either read e-mail and/or text messages or to send e mail and/or text messages while driving for work. This work rule applies to any employee who drives as a part of his or her job, whether in a personal vehicle or a Company vehicle. ” Each mobile device 8.
