Henderson Employee Handbook

The company reviews a number of pay and benefit surveys, including those that cover employers in our geographic area and industry. We use these surveys to determine our competitive wages and benefits. Following is a general overview of the most significant compensation and benefit programs the company offers. These are merely highlights. When you become eligible for entry into the various benefit plans, you will receive a more detailed description of the benefits in which you may enroll. If you have questions about your pay or benefits, please see your supervisor or your human resources business partner. BONUS PROGRAMS The company recognizes that you and the job you perform are important to the overall success of the company. Only by working together can we keep our company successful. To encourage teamwork and to ensure that we maintain our focus, the company has two short term annual incentive bonus programs, which allows the company to share the rewards of its success with employees. The company’s two short-term incentive programs are: • The Annual Bonus Plan , which is based on annual company performance measured by our EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization). If the company’s EBITDA goal is reached, a bonus is paid to eligible employees during the first quarter of the following year. • The Quarterly Performance Incentive Plan , which applies to employees in eligible positions in the Sales and bakery Operations functions. The plan is designed to increase sales and margin for the company by incentivizing employees that have direct impact on these metrics. The bonus is paid quarterly.
