HOLSUM BAKERY OF TOLLESON, LLC ATTENDANCE POLICY
Effective: 04/03/2024
PURPOSE The orderly and efficient business operation of Holsum Bakery requires that all employees be at their assigned workstation or meeting area, ready and able to work at their assigned starting time on each and every scheduled work day. Accordingly, it is the purpose of this company policy to define acceptable attendance and set forth the administrative guidelines for dealing with excessive absence situations. Absences covered by any legally protected leave, such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, are not counted or otherwise considered for disciplinary or any other adverse action. POLICY In the event that an employee develops a poor attendance record, he/she will then become subject to the corrective action process.

10 = Termination of employment. Points for absences and leave earlies will only remain active for one year (365 days) from the date of occurrence. Points assessed for tardies will only remain active for 6 months from the date of occurrence. DESCRIPTION OF OCCURRENCES Tardy: One (1) point will be charged. A tardy will begin five (5) minutes after your scheduled shift starts. Any employee reporting for work (clocking in, signing in, or reporting to their work area or meeting area) more than one hour after his or her scheduled starting time, may at the option of the supervisor, be sent home for the day and charged with an unexcused absence. Points assessed for tardies will remain active for 6 months from the date of occurrence. Leaving Early (failure to complete a full shift for reasons other than on the job injury): One (1) point will be given. Points assessed for leave earlies will remain active for one year (365 days) from the date of occurrence. Unexcused Absence: Two (2) points will be charged to the employee for failure to report to work. If the employee fails to provide Proper Notice, one (1) additional point will be charged. This includes the employee showing up to work to notify management of absence with the intent of not working their scheduled shift. Points assessed for unexcused absences will remain active for one year (365 days) from the date of occurrence.
